The Salam Centre is run and managed by the Italian based humanitarian organisation EMERGENCY.
Since April 2007, the Centre provides high standard, free of charge paediatric and adult cardiac surgery.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Applicants must have relevant experience and proper qualifications, ability to follow standardized procedures and security guidelines as defined by EMERGENCY. Candidates must also have good knowledge of the English language. Minimum availability 3/6 months, depending on the professional profile.

EMERGENCY provides monthly salary, travel and accomodation expenses, full insurance coverage.


HOW TO APPLY

The selection process begins with an initial evaluation of the application form. It's important to attach a complete CV (qualifications and other training, professional responsibilities, most recent positions held...) and a brief covering letter explaining why you want to work with us.
After this first screening, candidates will usually be asked to complete an in-depth Questionnaire to assess whether their professional profile corresponds with the role we are seeking to fill. If the outcome is positive, you will be invited for one or more interviews by the Human Resources Department and the specialist sector relevant to the role. This will require a whole day and will conclude with a conversation in English.

For personnel who are not resident in Italy, methods of interview and selection may include: long-distance interview, the involvement of expert specialists resident in the same country, local interview sessions...
