The Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery

The Salam Centre is run and managed by the Italian based humanitarian organisation EMERGENCY.
Since April 2007, the Centre provides high standard, free of charge paediatric and adult cardiac surgery.

National

The Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery presently employs 80 Sudanese Nurses and Doctors and 180  Ancillary Staff.

The recruitment of health personnel is made in collaboration with the Health Authorities of Sudan.

The ancillary staff has been recruited giving priority to the poor and disabled, following the principle of gender and ethnic equality.
